Australian and International Standards provide guidance for PCBUs to demonstrate compliance
with legal obligations for supply and fitment of respiratory protective equipment (rpe), including
establishment of a comprehensive respiratory protection program.
Fit 4 Fit can tailor a service to suit your workplace requirements, depending on the maturity of your
organisation's safety management system, resource availability and specific needs, including:
•
facilitated risk assessment;
•
respiratory protection program development and/or audit / assessment / evaluation / alignment
of your current program;
•
annual quantitative face fit testing of tight-fitting respirators and N95, P1, P2 and P3 filtering face
piece respirators (compliant with AS/NZS 1716:2012 or equivalent), to ensure that supplied rpe
adequately seals to the wearer’s facial features and provides the assigned level of protection.
Quantitative fit testing is considered the gold standard for workers exposed to airborne, hazardous
substances and particles in the workplace.
Fit 4 Fit are Resp-fit QNFT Accredited Fit Testers.
Resp-fit is a national rpe fit testing training and accreditation program developed by the Australian Institute of
Occupational Hygienists, in consultation with industry stakeholders.
